How else can you use Essential Oils for bug bites? Here’s a great recipe for a versatile salve to have on hand:
BUG RELIEF SALVE RECIPE
• 2 oz. (50ml) Beeswax
• 4 oz (100ml). Shea Butter
• 1 cup. Dried Calendula
• 10 Drops Tea Tree
• 5 Drops Lavender
• 5 Drops Peppermint
Bring a pot of water to a boil, and add beeswax and Shea butter in a bowl that can be placed on top of the pot of boiling water. Stir to melt and combine. In a food processor, stir the dried calendula flowers until they are close to a powder consistency. Infuse the beeswax and Shea butter by taking off heat, add flower powder, and let it sit, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes. Strain the mixture, stir in Essential Oils, and allow the mixture to set in an airtight container for storage.
